EHS Principal Joe Cabrera

Hello Longhorn family.  My name is Joe Cabrera and it is my pleasure to serve as Principal at Early High School.  For over 25 years I have had the privilege of serving in various roles in education such as teacher, coach, technologist, and administrator.  This year I am beginning my 5th year at Early High School and I am looking forward to another great year as a Longhorn.  For me, education was the way to move from migrant worker as a child to educational leader.   After high school, I made my way to Florence, Alabama.  There, I earned my first degree, Bachelor of Arts in Bible, at Heritage Christian University.   It was later in 2003 that I earned my Masters in Educational Administration from Texas A&M Kingsville. 

It is evident that Early High School has a rich history of achievement and a caliber of students that is unique in this area.  I want to invite both parents and community members to join our faculty and staff in our endeavor to continue to make Early High School the greatest educational experience a student can have in Brown county.  Together we can build a safer school, broaden our experiences for learning, and launch our students forward so that they can pursue their personal life goals.
